  • Where are you located?
    All items from Tatum Gems ship from Adelaide, South Australia.
  • Can I come and visit your workshop?
    No sorry, we operate from a private studio based in Adelaide and don't have a showroom set up for visitors. If you would like to view something in person and you are located in Australia and have a trade account with us, send us an email and we can either make an appointment to come to you to show our stones, or send a gemstone out on appro/memo.
  • Do you cut customer supplied gemstone rough?
    No, we don’t sorry. To assure the best quality and most durable gemstone for you, we prefer to cut our own supplied gemstone rough which has been expertly graded and chosen by a gemmologist and gem cutter to assure it’s of facetable quality. Often when rough has been supplied externally without grading by a professional gem cutter it can have unpredictable inclusions or cracks in the material, or it may not be suitable to cut to a size, clarity or colour of your expectations.
  • Do you offer custom cutting if I can't find the stone I'm looking for on your website?
    Occasionally we will take on custom cutting if we have suitable rough already in stock to cut what you are looking for. Feel free to send us an enquiry if you can’t find something you are searching for.
  • Do you make and sell jewellery for your gemstones as well?
    No sorry, we only provide loose gemstones for sale, working with metal and setting gemstones is another qualified skill in itself and not a service that Tatum Gems offers.
  • Do you ship internationally?

  • How can I track my order?
    For orders within Australia we recommend entering your tracking number here. For orders overseas we recommend entering your tracking number here. To find out more details about parcel tracking on domestic and international parcels you can also head to our shipping page here.
  • How can I purchase?
    We have recently moved to become a strictly B2B company only, meaning we only sell direct to the jewellery trade. We no longer sell direct to the consumer. If you are an active member of the jewellery trade and would like to purchase from us, just click on the trade application page here to apply for a trade account with us.
  • Do you offer wholesale pricing?
    Yes, we do. If you already have an account with us you can simply login to view wholesale pricing. Or if you are a new jewellery trade customer with us, click on the trade application page here to apply for a trade account and to find out more about pricing for the jewellery industry.
  • What if I’m not a jeweller, how can I purchase?
    We have recently moved to become a strictly B2B company only, meaning we only sell direct to the jewellery trade. We no longer sell direct to the consumer. We do however, have a great network of jewellers and designers you can get pricing and purchase through. Get in touch with us via our Contact Us page and we’d be happy to put you in touch with a jeweller or designer near you.
  • Do you offer layby or AfterPay?
    No sorry, we don’t offer layby or Afterpay services on our gemstones.
  • What type of payment methods do you accept?
    Via the website we accept credit card payments and PayPal.
  • What currency are your prices listed in?
    Prices listed on the website are in AUD by default, although you can select to view items in your chosen currency at the top of the products page. However, all transactions will still revert back to process in AUD.
